Meet The Band

124815647_132758448600135_1853148381572176852_n.jpeg

Wild Bill - Bass + Vocals

Wild Bill is an electrifying performer, equally adept at Rockabilly, Country, Bluegrass, ballads, yodeling - you name it!

And Wild Bill is a workhorse. Last year (2022) he played 346 shows (including sideman work), as well as hundreds of Wild Bill and the Bruiser’s appearances.

If you’ve ever seen them play, you can tell that Bill is a reckless, fun loving dude!

Bill has never met a stranger. He was born in 1993 in Long Island, New York and started playing electric guitar at age 9.

In 2005, his family moved to Lafayette Indiana, where he went to high school, and then in 2011, Bill graduated high school and moved down to Nashville, Tennessee to go to college.

In 2018, Bill bought his trusty bass fiddle, and started slappin' the crap out of it!

Wild Bill assembled his Bruisers in 2019, and the rest is history.

Ryan Hartman - Guitar + Vocals

Ryan is "The Master of the Telecaster," and his guitar work has enormous range.

Ryan is from Marietta Georgia and has been playing since he was 7.

He came into his sound after being turned onto the likes of Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan in his early 20s. He has been obsessed with the telecaster and Americana music ever since.

Roger Ross - Drums + Vocals

Roger brings the skills and sensibilities of a multi-instrumentalist to the drum kit.  Roger is from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and has been drumming since he was 7 years old.

In 2011 he decided to move to Nashville and has called it home ever since. Attending Belmont University, he studied percussion and earned a degree in commercial music.

Shortly after graduation, he worked in Las Vegas helping premiere "FTR Baz" in the Mandalay Bay casino and resort. After his time in Vegas, Roger moved back to Nashville and began working around town in several musical capacities, primarily with the swing group, The Gnarly Parkers.

Being well versed in an eclectic array of styles, he feels comfortable in just about any musical situation. This gave him the opportunity to work for the P&O cruise lines and tour the pacific playing jazz and various other show music for just over a year, until early 2020.

Upon coming home to Nashville, Roger met up with long time friends (and future Bruisers) Bill Allison and Ryan Hartman. The three of them got a hare-brained idea to play the music they love, and they have a ton of fun doing it!

They have been bruising ever since.
